  • Length: 15 miles
  • Driving Time: min. 20 mins

The paved road climbs gently to Ute Pass (9530 ft) at the Granby county line then drops toward the Henderson Mill and surrounding reservoirs. The road actually continues on to connect with US 40 west of Hot Sulphur Springs. I haven’t driven that stretch.

Photo Ops:Vistaswildflowers

SH 9 travels along the Gold Medal trout fishing waters of the Blue River and offers many photo ops from several pullouts. Terrific vistas of the Gore Range near the top of the pass. Abundant summer wildflowers.
