The trailhead is also a shuttle bus stop and is subject to Bear Lake Rd private vehicle restrictions. Consider the Park & Ride lot 5 miles from US36 and riding the free shuttles or arrive early.
Just past the Beaver Meadows Entrance Station, turn south onto Bear Lake and drive 1.3 miles to a right turn into Moraine Park.
Moraine Park CG, with 245 sites, is located in a ponderosa pine forest above the meadows of Moraine Park about 1/2 mile from Bear Lake Rd.
