Here's the Deal!

Howdy,

Five Star Photos is owned by Steve Packard, I was born in 1949 and grew up on a farm in the middle of Iowa and learned to appreciate photography from my father. I started out taking lots of snapshots of family and friends and lots of travel photos.

I also learned to love exploring from my dad as I was growing up. He seldom passed up a chance to explore a new back road when he found one. On a trip to Colorado in 1983, my brother took my family 4-wheeling in his pickup and I fell in love with the experience. I relocated to Colorado in 1986 and currently reside in the Denver metro area.

So now I head west as often as I can and bring along my camera. It's a blast! There are so many beautiful places here in Colorado.

I am currently shooting with a Minolta 7D along with a variety of lenses.

Growing up on a farm in the middle of Iowa, I was raised to appreciate quality and value. I intend to pass those values on to you, the customer, in my art. So, please check out my galleries. I think you'll find something you'll like.
